Elbinger says his first language was Polish. He gives his birth on 2 January 1931 in a town whose name is unclear in the transcript, where his mother travelled while pregnant and where he was registered. He says his mother came from Bendzin (?) and his father's family originally from Warsaw, and that they met in Bużesk (?), some twenty-three kilometres east of Kraków. He mentions two sisters and a photograph of himself with them. He starts to describe his early home: the family had a shop with goods, his mother worked and cooked, and there was no running water or electricity. The file ends mid-sentence.
