Dunaevskij answers Kerler's dialectological questions in Yiddish. The items include words for a thick-haired person, skin and building a house, and terms for illness and being very sick. They also cover words for devout, honest and believing Jews, and for peasants and non-Jews. Further items are household and garden words (bed, flower bed, room, attic, well, lake and river), numbers and dates, and forms of address such as 'you are right'. He also translates sentences with pronouns, tenses and prepositions, such as 'I see her badly', 'on the street' and 'in three days they will come'. There are also questions on the word for a family of seven, on 'enemy' (shoyne, singular and plural) and on the verb 'to leave'. He often says he does not remember or does not know a word. The session closes with thanks and a farewell blessing.
